jQuery UI Spinner stepUp() Method

The jQuery UI consists of GUI widgets, visual effects, and themes implemented using jQuery, CSS, and HTML. jQuery UI is great for building UI interfaces for the webpages. The jQueryUI spinner widget helps us to increment and decrement values of an input element using up and down arrow. In this article, we will see how to use stepUp() Method in jQuery UI slider. The stepUp() Method is used to increase the value of the step with a given number of steps in jQuery UI spinner. This method can invoke three eents start, stop and spin.

Syntax:



$(".selector").spinner("stepUp", steps);

Parameters: This method accepts a single parameter as mentioned above and described below:

Example 1: In this example, we increase the value of the step by the given number of steps, at each step the value is increment by 1.
