Today I am here to share my interview experience of JP Morgan.Firstly I want to tell everyone that as it is a global financial services firm with assets of $2.6 trillion and operations worldwide. It’s story spans over 200 years. They are a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers and small business, commercial banking, financial transactions processing and asset management.
Recently I got an mail from from college placement cell for two months summer internship in JP Morgan and chase .The eligibility criteria for participating in this is tough though as those students who have above than 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat in the first round of the exam .I fill the form in the 1st week of April another mail came that we have to give the exam since 7th of April . Many students will not able to get mail because of their lower cgpa. There I know about that students having atleast 8.8 cgpa will also be not allowed to give the coding round .As my cgpa is 8.96 so I got selected.I gave my coding exam which is of 1 hr on hackerrank platform.There are two questions of coding as I got one of swap parity and another one of server selection.i have to pass all the ten cases of each question.In server selection I pass all the test cases but in swap parity I passed only 6 test cases as it is of only one hr time is also passed so I submit my answers hope for the best .
After 2 weeks I got another mail from JP Morgan for my interview as I got selected in the coding round .the interview is of 20 mins on Hirevue it is AI generated interview you have to seat in a quiet place with proper lighting no disturbance.As I started the interview one question came on the screen I have to read it and understand it in 30 seconds and give my answers in 90 seconds or more if we want .
First question which I has to deal is ..suppose you are not able to communicate well at a particular place so what will you do to correct that situation.
Another question is that if your friend cannot understand any subject, what will you do to make him or her understand that topic and what tricks will you apply to do so .
I will give my answers according to my scenario.
Now I am waiting for the result it was a nice experience.It is my first interview of my life till date .
The only thing I suggest is that communication is the key for any interview and another is your confidence both will reflect a positive impact on the interviewer . Hope this article helps everyone for their interview round .All the best !
