HTML DOM Area target Property

The Area target Property in HTML DOM is used to set or return the value of the target attribute. It is used to specify the place the linked document should be opened where. 

Syntax:



 areaObject.target
areaObject.target = _blank|_self|_parent|_top|framename 

Property Values: It contains a single value shape that specifies the type of shape.

Return Value: It returns a string value that represents where to open the linked document. 



Example 1: This example returns the Area target Property.
