2 Methods To Recover Hacked Facebook Account
Method 1: Changing Password
Note: This method might not be effective most of the time. But sometimes, this method is enough to resolve the problem. So, users are requested to follow the steps below. And if in any steps they are finding any issue, then they can move to the second method which is the direct medicine of such issues. But for now, the following steps need to be covered first.
Step 1: You need to open the Facebook website or the application. You will find a Forgot Password Button present there. Click on the button.
Step 2: In the next window, provide the Email-ID of your Facebook account. After providing the email id, click on the Find Your Account button.
Step 3: In the next window, different types of ways will be opened in front of the users. Choose the send code via SMS option. And after that, click on the Continue button.
Step 4: In the next step, provide the OTP that will be shared with the user’s mobile number. It will be promptly accepted by the mobile. Then set one new password for your Facebook account. And then click on the continue button. It will open your Facebook account.

Method 2: By Reporting To Facebook
Note: This is the most effective method to recover a Facebook account from a hacker. In the previous method, there might be some steps where users will face some difficulties. Most of the time, hackers got complete control of users’ Facebook accounts. And in those cases, users can’t able to change the password also. So, there is no meaning to going through using the above method. Most of the time, the following method becomes the solution to the problem.
Step 1: Browse the Official Hacker Solution Window of Facebook. This is the special link from where the Facebook authority helps to remove Fake or Hacked accounts. In that window, users will find an area Report Compromised Account. There is one button present below the box. Click on the button My Account Is Compromised.
Step 2: In the next window, enter the Facebook Email ID & the last Password that you have set. Enter both of the data. After that, click on the Continue button.
Step 3: In the next window, provide your mobile number associated with Facebook to confirm your identity. After providing the number, click on the Search button to move ahead.
Step 4: In the next window, find a set of names provided by Facebook. You will find that all profiles have the same name. But the surname will be different. In case, if you have the name ‘Ram’, then all the profile names will have the same name. But their surname will be different from each other. You need to find out your profile. And then, click on the This Is My Account Button.
Note: In this step, the Display Picture of every profile will appear along with the full name of the profile. So, you will not find any difficulty to find your original account. In the below screenshot, we have removed confidential information like picture, First Name due to maintain the privacy.
Step 5: In the last step, you need to again provide the last modified password of your Facebook account. After providing the details, click on Continue, And then you will be redirected to the Home Page of your Facebook account.
