- Now the files of the extension would start downloading.
- After the download has been completed, the extension would auto-install into Chrome. After which the browser would be redacted to the Configuration Page.

- Upon selecting the Hotspot Shield extension, a window similar to this would appear.
- Now Click on the button inside the Hotspot Shield Menu. Now you would be connected to a VPN across the world, which consequently bypasses Open DNS Security restrictions.
Using an Online Proxy:
A proxy is a server application that acts as an intermediary between a client requesting a resource and the server providing that resource. Therefore, any request made on the Proxy server is first sent to the proxy server, which then sends it to its destination. Therefore, in the destination, it appears as if the proxy server is the one who is making the request. This redirection is useful in bypassing security protocols placed by the Open DNS system.
