Hitachi Vantara Interview Experience for Technical consultant Associate

Embarking on the journey of securing a job in the tech industry can be akin to navigating a labyrinth. Each corner turned presents a new challenge, a fresh opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise. Recently, I had the privilege of participating in a rigorous interview process that shed light on the nuances of the tech recruitment landscape. Here’s an account of my experience, from online exams to face-to-face technical interviews.

Round-1: Online Exam

The first round comprised of around 20 MCQ questions including aptitude, logical, Operating system fundamentals and Storage technologies (disk storage) (Test Duration: 20 minutes):



Recently, I had the privilege of participating in a rigorous interview process that shed light on the nuances of the tech recruitment landscape. Here’s an account of my experience, from online exams to face-to-face technical interviews.

Round-2: Offline Exam in Office

The Second round occurred in office around 20 MCQ questions including Operating system fundamentals and Storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and cloud fundamentals (Public, private and Hybrid cloud) and IaaS, PaaS, SaaS (Test Duration: 30 minutes):



Round-3: Technical Interview

The Technical interview, lasted a comprehensive 45 minutes. Questions from the project which I mentioned in my resume. My project was on AWS cloud and GCP cloud , so he asked various typical questions on AWS cloud services (Why, How, etc.). He later asked me steps to create the Virtual machine in EC2 instance. then He asked regarding Firewall related questions and Inbound and outbound rules and He asked about RDP client connection. He started asking Linux commands like cp, mv, fdisk, free, top, touch, echo and file permissions and chown, chmod. and basic Networking questions like switches, routers, DMZ and gateway

later he also asked S3(simple storage service) buckets and versioning and EBS (Elastic block store) He asked give yourself rating on Knowledge on Python. then I rated myself 4/5. he started asking OOPS concept and multithreading and Variables as part of my project.

Some server Hardware related questions also asked like SSD HDD. Then He asked Where u want to see yourself in next 5 years. and he asked about my internship.

Noteworthy were discussions surrounding AWS services like EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and EBS, underscored by a keen examination of programming prowess, particularly in Python, and comprehension of object-oriented programming concepts.

Strategic Approach: Maintain a calm demeanor during examinations and interviews, optimizing time allocation and refraining from fixating on individual questions.

Gauge your proficiency in key domains accurately, fostering a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

As I traverse the aftermath of this enriching interview experience, I’m reminded of the adage: the journey is as significant as the destination. Each question posed, each challenge surmounted, serves as a stepping stone towards personal and professional growth in the ever-evolving landscape of technology.
