Round one
In this round, you will be given 60 minutes to cover questions that are based on arithmetic aptitude(profit loss, work time, distance etc) English grammar, and logical reasoning. there were approximately 40 to 45 questions. You can easily clear this round if you have good practice of Aptitude, you can refer to Indiabix for the same.
tips-Previous year questions that came in Hexaware written round were repetitive in nature. Before my written round, I checked the questions that came in the previous shift and that helped me in clearing round one. Round one was held in August.
Round two
This is the interview round. I got the mail for the interview round in November. the interview went like this –
- He-Good afternoon
- Me- good afternoon sir
- He- okay so let’s start with the interview. introduce yourself.
- Me- gave my introduction covering family background, college, graduation year, hobbies, project, and internship.
- He- ok, what do you know about Hexaware?
- Me- I was prepared for this question, so I googled it beforehand. I told whatever I studied about the company from Google.
- Tip– always google about company history, founder, CEO, headquarters, employee count, the business they do, etc. it shows that you are interested in the company and creates a good impression on the interviewer.
- He-so you do have good knowledge about our company, that’s nice. do you have any other offers currently?
- Me- yes, told the company name.
- He- so, which one would you go for? that company or Hexaware?
- Me- Hexaware
- He- why so?
- Me- because Hexaware is a small company, there are lots of opportunities to grow here. The other one is MNC and has huge employees so I may not get that much of skill exposure.
- He- nodded and further supported my point.
- He-you are skilled in which language?
- Me- python.
- He- why not C++?
- Me- I know C++ as well but I love Python as it has lots of advantages compared to C++
- He-ok, tell me the advantages.
- Me- I gave him 4-5 points related to this.
- He- agreed. so write a program to remove duplicates from the list.
- Me- I wrote it using set().
- He- ok, tell me another way of solving this.
- Me- I wrote using 1 loop.
- He- 1 more way, please
- Me- I wrote using 2 loops.
- He- ok good. What are OOPS concepts?
- Me- explained each one with an example.
- He- writes a program to check if a string is a palindrome of each other or not.
- Me- wrote it correctly.
- He- ok, good.do you have any plans for higher studies?
- Me- no sir.
- He- ok. will you leave our company anytime?
- Me- if I get the correct environment to grow and learn skills, I won’t leave this company.
- He- you will get the best environment to grow. he smiled.
- Me- I am excited.
- He- ok, that’s it I wanted to ask. thankyou for joining, have a nice day.
- Me- thank you, sir, have a nice day to you too sir. Bye
Result- I got selected for 3.6lpa role.Then i got a test mail for 5lpa role upgradation ,there were 2 programming questions to be solved in 1 hour. i passed all the test cases but still i didn’t get any mail regarding that.
