Energy Exemplar visited on-campus for a full-time SDE Role.
First Round was Resume shortlisting followed by an online test.
Online test: The test consisted of ELQ questions and 3 coding questions. The results were announced the next day. 30 students were shortlisted for interview.
Interviews were scheduled in college and there were 3 Technical rounds and 1 HR.
Technical Round 1: In this, the interviewer asked me about basic to advanced concepts of OOP and their real-time examples. Later, she asked me to explain and write a code to reverse an array and then reverse the linked list. To delete a duplicate element in an array and mostly the questions were based on resumes. 16 students were shortlisted for the next round.
Technical Round 2: In this round, the interviewer asked me about algorithms like divide and conquered, Binary search, Kadane’s algorithm, and about internship which I have mentioned in my Resume. 10 students were shortlisted from this round.
Technical Round 3: This round was purely oriented to projects which were mentioned in the resume. In fact, I was asked to write a block of code for my project and detailed discussions on the techniques used.
HR Round: I was asked about my family and future career plans in a proper HR round.
Lastly, 4 students were placed, and I am glad to be one of them. Just Be Confident and do not bluff anything in your resume.
