AtomicInteger toString() method in Java with examples

The java.util.concurrent.atomic.AtomicInteger.toString() is an inbuilt method in java that returns the string representation of the current value which is been stored in the integer.

Syntax:

public String toString()

Parameters: The function does not accepts any parameter.

Return value: The function returns the string representation of the current value.

Program below demonstrates the function:

Program 1:

// Java program that demonstrates
// the toString() function

import java.util.concurrent.atomic.AtomicInteger;

public class GFG {
    public static void main(String args[])
    {

        // Initially value as 0
        AtomicInteger val
            = new AtomicInteger(0);

        System.out.println("Previous value: "
                           + val);

        String s = val.toString();

        // Prints the string value
        System.out.println("String value: "
                           + s);
    }
}
