Atlassian Interview Experience for Internship

Hi all!! I am a prefinal year student, pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and I am an upcoming software engineer intern at Atlassian. So it all started when I got to know about the Women In Tech program of Atlassian in collaboration with GirlScript. I applied for the program and within a month I got a mail that my resume got shortlisted for further rounds (Atlassian gives chance to almost everyone for the online assessment)

Online Assessment: OA consisted of 4 questions. one easy, two medium, and one hard cp level questions were there. All the candidates who solved at least 3 questions and also their resumes were strong enough, got shortlisted for the next rounds.
Next, we received emails regarding our interview dates and got approx a month to prepare. For the internship, Atlassian conducted two rounds:

One for the problem-solving part(data structures and algo) and the other one for a managerial round. Both rounds were eliminatory and conducted on a single day.

Round 1: The DSA part was more of a discussion rather than a viva!! The questions were based on implementation and not basic standard leetcode questions! The interviewer wants to know your thought process and most importantly the way you approach the problem and how you use your knowledge of data structures. There was just a single question and it went on for about 50–60 minutes. Data Structures that I used to solve the problem were Heap, maps, tries an array.
Next, I got the mail that you cleared the first round and your managerial round is scheduled in 1 hour.

Managerial round: This round was something really different. Atlassian really focuses on its values and the whole interview was based on the 5 Atlassian values. They wanted to know how I am as a person and how have I tackled problems in the past and what was my approach. This also went for about 45–50 minutes.
The interviewers were really friendly and very eager to know you.

After about a month, I finally got the mail regarding my selection as an SWE intern for summer 2023. That day I felt like all my hard work paid off and how!!!
