College Intro: Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) is a branch of Weill Cornell Medicine of Cornell University, established in 2001 and located in Education City, Doha, Qatar. The college was established through a partnership between Cornell University and Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. It offers a comprehensive six-year medical program leading to the Cornell University M.D. degree. Highlights: WCM-Q is the first medical school in Qatar and a pioneer of coeducation in the country. It has a diverse student body representing over 30 nationalities. Academics Courses: The college offers a six-year medical program, divided into a two-year pre-medical program and a four-year medical program.
