After the 12th, the students who want to get into engineering, appears in many engineering entrance exams like JEE, VITEEE, WBJEE, CUET and many more.....And one among them is BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test). I had also appeared in various exams including BITSAT.
BITSAT is the Computer based online test conducted for Admissions to First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani at Pilani Campus , K K Birla Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus. It is considered that the level of difficulty of BITSAT is tougher than JEE. But more the exams have different marking schemes and different number of questions. We can say that the pattern is totally different but the concepts asked are the same.
PREPARATION STRATEGY:-
I had taken coaching from ALLEN KOTA. Alongside with JEE, I had also prepared for BITSAT. The notes and books that are followed for JEE preparation like Concepts of Physics Vol I and II by H.C. Verma, Organic Chemistry – M. S. Chauhan, Problems in General Physics by I.E. Irodov, Solomons' Organic Chemistry, Concise Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee etc. In addition to these, English & Logical Reasoning for BITSAT with 10 Mock Tests (5 in Book and 5 Online Tests) by Disha Publication is highly recommended.
IMPORTANT TOPICS:-
Physics: Heat and Thermodynamics Magnetic Effect of Current, Simple Harmonic Motion Waves and Optics
Chemistry: Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics p-Block Elements, d- and f-Block Elements
Mathematics: Algebra Trigonometry Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Probability
