ZopSmart Interview Experience for SDE

Round 1: This is a simple MCQ based exam. There are 50 questions solve in 35 min. Out of 200 students, only 26 are shortlisted for the interview process and I’m one of them.

Round 2(Technical interview): This is an online virtual interview conducted on the Skype platform.

1. Tell me about yourself
2. Tell me briefly about your project like which type of project you are doing and which technology you are using.
3. How to send the request from the client to server.
4. Which protocol you used to send the request to the server.
5. In which form the server sends the data to the client.
6. How URL actual work (goes in deep) 
7. Find the largest subarray which sum is zero.

Note: I’m working on a Web-Based project.

Only 8 students are shortlisted for the next round. 

Round 3 (Technical Interview): This is also an online virtual interview conducted on the Skype platform. And the interviewer was IIT Roorkee 2013 pass out.

1. Tell me about yourself
2. What is Normalization and its type?
3. What is an ACID property in DBMS?
4. What is Thrashing in OS?
5. What is scheduling and its type?
6. What is Paging?
7. Check the string is a valid number or not.

Finally, 4 students are selected and I’m one of them.

No HR round.
