Wand auto_level() function – Python

The auto_level() function is an inbuilt function in the Python Wand ImageMagick library which is used to scale the minimum and maximum values to a full quantum range.

Syntax:

auto_level()

Parameters: This function does not accept any parameter.

Return Value: This function returns the Wand ImageMagick object.

Original Image:



Example 1:




# Import library from Image 
from wand.image import Image
  
# Import the image
with Image(filename ='../geeksforgeeks.png') as image:
    # Clone the image in order to process
    with image.clone() as auto_level:
        # Invoke auto_level function
        auto_level.auto_level()
        # Save the image
        auto_level.save(filename ='auto_level1.jpg')
