Virtusa Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2021

Virtusa visited our campus in September 2021 for the Java Full Stack Engineer role recruitment the whole process involved a total of 3 rounds.

Round 1: Candidates were given test links for this round.

• It consisted of questions related to SQL, Java, and Computer fundamentals MCQs. 
• We have to code 6 questions in Java only I was able to solve all the questions were pretty simple if you are good at basic DSA and familiar with some useful functions related to Java. 
• Candidates who were able to solve at least 4 Questions were shortlisted and there is a sectional cut-off for the MCQs as well. I don’t remember the exact coding questions but you can consider them as Leetcode easy.

This round is for 2 hours.

Round 2: Since this interview is for Java full-stack engineer most of the questions were related to Java and Object Oriented Programming Concepts. Luckily I participated in Virtusa Neural Hack before they visited our campus which gave me an added advantage. A few questions asked were: 

• Why strings are immutable in java?
• Explain the OOPS concept along with real-life examples.
• Few questions related to the projects I worked on.

This round is around 15-20 mins 

Round 3: This was a basic HR round 

• I was asked about location preference.
• where do you see yourself in 5yrs?
• are you willing to work in any other domain if the company requires it?
• why do you want to join Virtusa?

The same night I got the selection list from my university and my name was at the top happiest moment of my life after a great hustle. cracked so many companies after this will be making articles related to them as well. A total of 120 candidates was selected out of more than 1000.
