Unthinkable Solutions Interview Experience
Hello everyone, I had interviewed for the position of Junior Associate-IT at Unthinkable Solutions and was selected for the same.
So, I’d like to share my interview experience with all of my fellow geeks.
This was an On-campus opportunity for the 2022 batch.
Round 1: An online assessment on HackerEarth was conducted, based purely on coding skills. 3 coding questions were present of which 2 were easy one and the last one was medium. The questions were based on Dynamic Programming, String, and Arrays.
Note: Try to do all 3 questions to directly qualify for the interviews. If you are able to do 2 or 2.5 questions then they again organize another coding round for the left candidates. Some of my friends got a second-round test. They needed to clear that round to get an interview call so try to submit all the questions.
Round 1A(Supplementary Coding Round): This round consists of 2 coding questions and the time allotted is 45 minutes.
- This is a little tougher round which consists of questions based on string manipulation and matrix.
- Both questions were of medium difficulty now. You have to do at least 1 question to qualify for interviews.
- I got qualified directly for the Face to face interview.
Round 2(Technical interview 1): This round takes place virtually and for approximately 60 minutes. The questions are:-
- I was asked to introduce myself
- Tell me about your projects
- 3 coding questions:
- Write pseudocode to print all permutations of a given string (Without using STL libraries)
- Write pseudocode to implement Queue using two stacks
- A string-based dynamic programming question was asked.
- Some Numerical puzzles were also asked
- I was able to do all the questions so qualified for the interview round. After this, under 10-15 minutes I got called for the second technical interview and it’s occurred just after 10 minutes of the first interview.
Round 3(Technical interview 2): This round takes place for around 50 minutes. The questions were:
- Introduce yourself
- Write an SQL query for finding the second-largest salary from the given table.
- From the given string return the Uppercase characters, Lowercase characters, and Numerical characters present in it.
- Write a program to print a given matrix in spiral form
Round 4(HR Round): If you have reached this round, you can assume comfortably that you are selected.
- Tell me about your family.
- Any internships or certifications you have done.
- What technology do you want to work upon?
- Next 3-year goal.
- Why do you want to join the unthinkable?
- Then she told me about My Package, Company Allowances, Work timings, Paid holidays, Salary structure, and other basic information.
- Finally, she told me that you are selected and I will also get notified by my TnP through Mail.
Tips: Clear your fundamentals related to DS and Algorithms and with your project too.
Verdict: Selected
