The _.implode() method is used to Implode an array of strings into a single string.

Syntax:

_.implode( array );

Parameters:

  • array: This method takes an array to implode.

Return Value: This method returns the generated String.

Note: This will not work in normal JavaScript because it requires the underscore.js contrib library to be installed.

underscore.js contrib library can be installed using npm install underscore-contrib –save.

Example 1:

javascript

// Defining underscore contrib variable
const _ = require('underscore-contrib');

let s = _.implode(["G", "e", "e", "k",
    "s", "f", "o", "r",
    "G", "e", "e", "k", "s"]);

console.log("The generated String is : ", s);

Output:

The generated String is : GeeksforGeeks

Example 2:

javascript

// Defining underscore contrib variable
const _ = require('underscore-contrib');

let s = _.implode(["C", "o", "m", "p", "u", "t",
    "e", "r", " ", "S", "c", "i",
    "e", "n", "c", "e", " ", "P",
    "o", "r", "t", "a", "l"]);

console.log("The generated String is : ", s);

Output:

The generated String is : Computer Science Portal
