Underscore.js _.camelCase() Method
The _.camelCase() method is used to convert a dash-separated string into camel case strings
Syntax:
_.camelCase( dashedString );
Parameters:
- dashedString: This method takes a dash-separated String.
Return Value: This method returns the converted camelCase String.
Note: This will not work in normal JavaScript because it requires the underscore.js contrib library to be installed. Underscore.js contrib library can be installed using npm install underscore-contrib –save.
Example 1:
Javascript
var _ = require( 'underscore-contrib' );
var cml = _.camelCase( "a-ab-abc" );
console.log( "The calmelCase String is : " , cml);
|
Output:
The calmelCase String is : aAbAbc
Example 2:
Javascript
var _ = require( 'underscore-contrib' );
var cml = _.camelCase( "geeks-for-geeks" );
console.log( "The calmelCase String is : " , cml);
|
Output:
The calmelCase String is : geeksForGeeks
