Underscore.js _.bitwiseLeft() Method

  • Last Updated : 07 Aug, 2020

The _.bitwiseLeft() method returns the result of using the << operator on all the arguments.

Syntax:

_.bitwiseLeft(val1, val2,..., valn);

Parameters: This method returns n values to operate on them.

Return Value: This method returns the result of using the << operator on the arguments.

Output:

The bitwiseLeft is : 8

Example 2:

Javascript

// Defining underscore contrib variable
var _ = require('underscore-contrib');

var bL  = _.bitwiseLeft( 1, 3, 2 );

console.log("The bitwiseLeft is :", bL);

Output:

The bitwiseLeft is : 32

Example 3:
