Website Design is basically a process of creating, designing, and implementing website or web pages. It generally involves everything that is related to the design and functioning of the websites. While designing websites, designers and developers have to keep in mind both visual and functional design i.e. how a website works.

Different types of Website Design: Nowadays, different types of website designs are available. Different types of website design are developed to make the best use of new developing technologies so that attractive, effective, and eye-catching websites can be created. There are two types of website designs i.e. Adaptive, and Responsive. Before selecting any one of them, first, understand their benefits then decide which website design will be the most effective and works best for website design requirements. 1. Adaptive Website Design: Adaptive web design simply requires different designs for different screen sizes because it creates a fixed web design for a particular screen size. It generally uses two or more designs of websites that are specially customized for a particular screen size. It makes it easy to load pages, customs designs are faster and much easier to create that too without code, etc.  

2. Responsive Website Design: Responsive web design simply does not require multiple web designs of the website. It is flexible and adapts to screen size. In simple words, responsive website design changes constantly according to screen size. It allows opening or displays websites on different devices such as laptops, mobiles, tablets, etc. It provides a lot of templates to start from.

3. Adaptive Website Builder: The adaptive website builder makes it easy to develop anything without writing any single line code. Some adaptive website builders provide a customizable experience, some make it easy and do not have any design experience, ability to work with the developer, etc. Website builders use an adaptive approach to create websites.

4. Responsive Website Builder: The website builder makes the website flexible i.e. it can be used on different screens but creating a fluid responsive website is not an easy task. It requires effective coding skills because, without any knowledge of coding, it is not at all possible to create websites using responsive website builders. But such website builders have the ability to create responsive sites that too without having to write any code.
