TreeMap values() Method in Java with Examples

In Java, the values() method of the TreeMap class is present inside java.util package which is used to create a collection out of the values of the map. It basically returns a Collection view of the values in the TreeMap.

--> values() Method
Syntax:
Tree_Map.values()
Return Type: A collection view containing all the values of the map.
Now we will be proposing different sets to illustrate values() method as listed:
- Mapping string values to integer keys
- Mapping integer values to string keys
Example 1: Mapping String Values to Integer Keys

public static void main(String[] args)
{
TreeMap<Integer, String> tree_map
= new TreeMap<Integer, String>();
tree_map.put( 10 , "Geeks" );
tree_map.put( 15 , "4" );
tree_map.put( 20 , "Geeks" );
tree_map.put( 25 , "Welcomes" );
tree_map.put( 30 , "You" );
System.out.println( "Initial Mappings are: "
+ tree_map);
System.out.println( "The collection is: "
+ tree_map.values());

The collection is: [Geeks, 4, Geeks, Welcomes, You]
Example 2: Mapping Integer Values to String Keys.

= new TreeMap<String, Integer>();
tree_map.put( "Geeks" , 10 );
tree_map.put( "4" , 15 );

The collection is: [15, 20, 25, 30]
Note: The same operation can be performed with any type of Mappings with variation and combination of different data types.
