With this setup, you can control the pageviews of your own blog with your select browser or browsers. If you are using multiples pc then you can configure the same on other pcs as well with that blog login.

Advantages and Disadvantages:

  • Disables the tracking of your own site/page views on the blog.
  • Helps Website bloggers to track stats of visitors from other browsers.
  • Disabling can be implemented on multiple browsers of your own.
  • This procedure doesn’t have any disadvantages you are good to implement the process.

Use the following implementation to manage and exclude your own blog pageviews on Blogger.  Let’s get started in the process.

Implementation:

Step 1: Login/Sign to Blogger with your Google Account.

Step 2: After logging in to your blogger >> Select your Blog Site.

Step 3: Next, from the left menu page >> select Stats >> from the stats section scroll down the page to end and from there click on “manage the tracking of your own pageviews”

Step 4: Click on “Don’t track my views for this blog” and Enable pageviews from your browser.

After enabling this, page views from your select browser will not be counted for your select blog.

Step 5: If you use more than one browser, open each one and set this preference. (follow step 4)

That’s it! Once you are done, then the pageviews from your select browser will not be counted.
