ThoughtWorks Interview Experience For Grad Consultant & Quality Analyst 2022

The recruitment process included 3 rounds. Initially, the profile got shortlisted on Naukri, later received a mail with the test link.

Round 1: The test is comprised of 2 sections. 

1. In the first section, there are 10 technical multiple-choice questions. The topics given in multiple-choice questions are databases, data structures, and algorithms. The difficulty level is medium.
2. In the next section, there are 2 coding questions. The difficulty level is medium. There is no language restriction. The questions are related to arrays and strings. I was able to solve both in python.

Received a mail in the evening on the same day that I got shortlisted. The next day morning I received another mail related to the second round.

Round 2: This round is a case study round. I was given a case study on the flight ticket booking website. They asked me to prepare a document with a design diagram, what are the various test scenarios and also told me to identify pain points if any.

They also added if there are any questions you would ask the client. The time they gave to prepare this document is about 5 days. I prepared the document and sent it to the interviewer.

Interviewer after a few days scheduled a technical interview.

 In the interview panel, there are two members, who introduced themselves and asked me to introduce myself. They mostly concentrated on the case study. They kept on asking questions related to the case study. They tried to find out how much understanding I have of a case study and whether I prepared the document on my own. I answered most of the questions related to the case study. 

After the case study, they switched to technical subjects. They asked questions on oops concepts, data structures. They asked to convert infix to prefix and postfix, some puzzles were also asked. 

This round lasted for almost an hour. That’s the end of my technical interview. After almost an hour the recruiter called me and told me that I cleared the technical interview and case study round.

Round 3: I received mail for the next round after 2 days. In ThoughtWorks,  we have the Leadership and Social change round as the last round. This round is mostly about social issues and how would you react to those issues. In this round, we don’t have any right or wrong answers. We will just discuss with the interviewers. You can also go through the company website for the blogs related to this round. This round lasted for one and half hours. 

After around 40 minutes of completion of the interview, I received the mail that I got selected. In this mail, you will have details related to your salary breakdown and joining.
