Round 1: Interviewer: Recruiter (HR): Duration: 25 mins. The interviewer started by explaining details about this role. What the internship would be like. Talked about the company in general. Then he started asking questions.

  • Tell me about yourself.
  • Why Teradata?
  • Why this role?
  • What makes you a good fit here?
  • Explain your role at the first company where you worked.
  • Explain your Augmented Reality project at the same company. What tools did you use? Why those tools?
  • Explain what all have you worked on Salesforce cloud.
  • Tell me a time when you led a project or team toward a common goal.
  • Do you have any questions for me?

Suggestion: Have a brief company overview before this round. Confidence and clear communication is the key.

Note: It was a behavioral interview with a slight touch of things you have emphasized in your CV.

Round 2 (Final): Duration: 40 mins. Interviewer: Director of Product Management The interviewer started by explaining details about this role in her team. What she expects out of interns. In what capacity the interns will be involved in the project? Then she started asking questions.

  • Introduce yourself.
  • Why Cloud PM?
  • Explain your time with your first company where you have worked.
  • Tell me in detail about any project you did there and your contributions there.
  • Design an AR app for renting/buying houses. 
  • How, as a PM, would you approach to come up with a solution for the above?
  • What are the most important metrics here for you as PM?
  • You seem to be a tech-savvy individual, then why PM? Why you don’t want to continue in a developer’s capacity going forward?
  • What is Kunal doing outside of the office?
  • What did your managers/directors think of you?
  • What do Kunal’s friends think of him?
  • What keeps you busy during the day?
  • Do you have any questions for me?

Suggestion: Review your CV well. Confidence and clear communication is the key. Ask good questions.

Note: It was a mix of both technical and behavioral interviews.
