TCS Digital Interview Experience

Round 1:It  first consists online test which consists following  topics
1.English
2.aptitude
3.technical questions based on c, c++and java
4. one coding question.
Those who cleared round 1  will be eligible for ninja(package 3 – 3.5 LPA) interview process and those who cleared the digital cutoff will selected for Round 2 for digital profile (package ~7 LPA).

TIP:Never leave the coding section blank at least write some logic into it, don’t care if your test case passes or not(In case if you are week in coding ) .

Round 2: it consists online test and same pattern as round 1 but they increases the difficulty level .Those who clear this test will be able  for digital interview process and those who are not cleared this test will go for ninja interview process.



Round 3:It consists technical round, as for digital profile they mainly  focus on new technologies like

1.ML/AI

2. IOT

3.BlockChain

4.cloudComputing.

5.BigData /hadoop.

6.cyber security.

7.salesforce

They also focused on software development methodologies like Agile, devOps etc. you must know each and every aspect of you project that you mention in you resume and they ask basic concepts of language that you mentioned in you resume.

In my interview they ask me the basic of c and javaScript like difference between declaration and definition, preprocessors etc, about cloud computing, blockchain, what is  mean stack and project description.


they took nearly 20-25 minute .

Round 4:MR(managerial round) here questions will be asked to check if you can make the perfect decisions and whether you can answer to them with confidence or not.

In my interview they asked that what will you do if you will not get assigned any  project during the whole year?

what are your weakness?

what will you do if your recently know that your best friend is sharing company confidential information to others?

and what will you do if at last moment you realize that their is a bug in software while delivering the software to the customer?

Tip: At last they may say ‘do you have any question for us’, then always try to ask any appropriate question .

Round 5:HR, it is basically to judge your personality, your strengths, your weaknesses, your communication skills, your capability to handle the role, to check your background, and to understand if you’re the right fit for this job.

In HR round they mainly focused on you hobbies, like, dislike, achievements, they may ask ‘tell me something that you don’t mention in you resume’, preferred location , about TCS, why you want  to join tcs?, do you have any innovative idea, etc.

In my interview they asked


are you ok if you we will get select you for ninja not for digital?

are you ok if you location will be chennai ?

tell me about your  innovative idea based on ml /neural network?

They also asked  me about  hobbies .

I reached on center  for HR, MR and technical rounds  nearly at 11:40 AM and i got my turn for HR  nearly at 8:50 pm .

Tip:Be honest in the HR or MR round.
