TCS CodeVita Interview Experience

Hello Everyone, Hope you are safe. I am here to explain my interview process in TCS.

I gave TCS Code Vita 2 times. First, in 2019, I cleared the first round by doing 1 code completely and 2nd code partially.

At that time there is no interview for me because I was in my 3rd year. When I gave CodeVita 2020 then I solved 2 questions.

The cutoff for the next round depends on the number of questions attempted. So it varies every year. Later my interview was scheduled. Two interviewers joined the call along with me. They asked me to show my government id card. I showed them and they started asking questions.

Firstly, a brief introduction about your studies, projects and so on.

Now Technical Questions:

1. What are the basic concepts of OOPS programming ?
2. How python and java are different?
3. What is interpreter?
4. What is ternary operator in c?
5. What is the meaning of  list[: : -1] in python ?
6. They suppose to write a code to find the number of vowels and non-vowels in chatbox .

Then they asked me some HR questions like 

1. What are your strengths ?
2. What is the unique thing that brings you here?

That’s it the interview takes about 20-25 minutes. Later they dropped the call. And results are declared after 10 to 15 days then I found I selected for the job.

NOTE: To answer the Code Vita questions you should have a basic knowledge about the data structures and algorithms. That is more than enough to clear the coding round.
