Tata Cliq FTE Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Recently Tata Cliq visited our campus for the first time.

Round 1(Assessment – Duration: 60 mins): OA consisted of 13 Technical MCQ (OS, DBMS, CN, OOPS, C output) and 2 easy coding questions. One was involving priority queue and second one was even easier than first one. 

Round 2 (F2F Technical – Duration: Approx 50 mins): The interviewer introduced himself and asked to introduce myself.  Then asked me to explain my project. I took around 6-7 minutes to explain in short. 

Next questions was 

• Designing a class for train reservation system involving book, cancel, search by PNR. You can find it here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9273357/designing-a-class-for-train-reservation-system. Interviewer was too interactive and helpful.

• https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/longest-palindrome-substring-set-1/
• Then he asked some basic oops questions like What is inheritance, types of it, Encapsulation vs Abstraction, what is Interface and example, Interface vs abstract class.
• He asked me whether I had any questions.

Then the ineterviewer asked me to wait on the call, HR will join the same call.

Round 3(F2F HR – Duration: Approx 30 mins): The interviewer introduce herself and asked to introduce myself and my project.  She was super cazz XD, we had some casual chat. I had no idea how 30 mins passed XD.

Verdict: Selected

Tips: OA had high weightage, try to solve all MCQs.
