Permutation.is_Empty() : is_Empty() is a sympy Python library function that checks whether the permutation is a set with zero elements.

Syntax : sympy.combinatorics.permutations.Permutation.is_Empty()

Return : true : if empty; otherwise false

Code #1 : is_Empty() Example

# Python code explaining
# SymPy.Permutation.is_Empty()

# importing SymPy libraries
from sympy.combinatorics.partitions import Partition
from sympy.combinatorics.permutations import Permutation

# Using from sympy.combinatorics.permutations.Permutation.is_Empty() method

# creating Permutation
a = Permutation([[2, 0], [3, 1]])

b = Permutation([1, 3, 5, 4, 2, 0])

print ("Permutation a - is_Empty form : ", a.is_Empty)
print ("Permutation b - is_Empty form : ", b.is_Empty)

Output :

Permutation a – is_Empty form : False
Permutation b – is_Empty form : False

Code #2 : is_Empty() Example – 2D Permutation

# Python code explaining
# SymPy.Permutation.is_Empty()

# importing SymPy libraries
from sympy.combinatorics.partitions import Partition
from sympy.combinatorics.permutations import Permutation

# Using from sympy.combinatorics.permutations.Permutation.is_Empty() method

# creating Permutation
a = Permutation([[2, 4, 0],
                 [3, 1, 2],
                 [1, 5, 6]])

print ("Permutation a - is_Empty form : ", a.is_Empty)

Output :

Permutation a – is_Empty form : False
