First screening – 261 students were selected from all the branches and the eligibility criteria were of minimum GPA – 7.00

There were seven rounds in total –

  1. Strength test: In this round behavioral questions were asked, just to get your viewpoint and perspective. This was not an elimination round. There were approx. 19-20 questions and 5 options were given for each one of them. We have to arrange them in order of their preference. There was not a right or wrong answer.
  2. Logical Reasoning:  This was the first elimination round and only those students who scored more than 40 percentiles were sent an e-mail with a link for the next round. In this round, there were 12 questions with a timer of 75 sec. We have to select the correct answer among 16-24 options. The questions were not so tricky but you’ve to be fast.
  3. Numerical Reasoning: In this round, questions were in a pair of three, and for 1st question, 90 seconds were given and for the rest two, the timer runs for 75 seconds only. The questions were purely based on calculation and basic mathematics. The cut off for this round was also 40 percentiles and people who qualified for this round were invited for the coding tests.
  4. Coding Round: This was an online coding test conducted on techgig platform. Two questions were given 100 marks each. The first question which was relatively easy in which we have found the total number of matches played in a knockout match if the number of teams is given(30 minutes were given for this question)
  5. The second question was of dynamic programming and bit masking for which 60 minutes were given –

You are allowed to submit the code only once and before that, you can check your code’s output through a sample test case. You can also check your code through custom input but that only provides the output of code, not the “actual output”(the print statements).

33 students were selected in this round.

  6. Panel Interview 1: The interviewer first went through my resume and asked me to introduce myself. Then after the introduction, he asked me to explain the work I’ve done in my previous internships. Then he asked my projects in detail and asked me some questions from JavaScript and conditional rendering. He also asked some MongoDB queries. Then he jumped over the data structures and asked some basic questions about them. Some questions from OOPS were also asked. Then he asked me to tell possible reasons for the high loading time of web pages and how we can minify CSS and JS code. No HR questions were asked in this round.

  7. Panel Interview 2: People who qualified in the previous round were invited for Panel Interview II. In this round, the interviewer wanted to know about the technology domains I am passionate about and want to work in the future. The interviewer was very friendly, and we discussed the drastic advancement in technology over the last decade.

  8. Telephonic Call: At last I got a telephonic call where I was asked about family background, location of the intern, and stipend. Basically they wanted to check the interest of candidates in the role.

Final Verdict – Selected

Finally, 7 students were selected for the internship role.

Tip: Always try to interact as much as you can with the interviewer. Try to ask the interviewer about their technology domain and experiences at the end of the interview.
