SourceLeakHacker is a multi-thread web directories scanner. This tool is a fully automated cyber security tool that is designed and developed in Python. This tool is freely available on the GitHub platform. You can also contribute to it. This tool can also work with a list of multiple target URLs at the same time. Along with this, you can get the output of your scan in CSV file format for further analysis.

Installation of SourceLeakHacker  Tool on Kali Linux OS

Step 1: Use the following command to install the tool in your Kali Linux operating system.

git clone https://github.com/WangYihang/SourceLeakHacker.git

Step 2: Now use the following command to move into the directory of the tool. You have to move in the directory in order to run the tool.

cd SourceLeakHacker

Step 3: You are in the directory of the SourceLeakHacker. Now you have to install a dependency of the SourceLeakHacker using the following command.

sudo pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Step 4: All the dependencies have been installed in your Kali Linux operating system. Now use the following command to run the tool and check the help section.

python3 SourceLeakHacker.py --help

Working with SourceLeakHacker Tool on Kali Linux OS

Example 1: Scanning single target URL

python SourceLeakHacker.py –url=http://geeksforgeeks.org –threads=4 –timeout=8

In this example, we are scanning only one target URL i.e geeksforgeeks.org.

The tool is checking multiple PHP files on the target URL for source code leaks.

Example 2: Scanning Multiple target URLs

python SourceLeakHacker.py –urls=url.txt –threads=4 –timeout=8

In this example, we will be scanning multiple target domains at the same time.

We have passed the url.txt file path which contains the list of target URLs.

The tool is checking the source code leak on google.com.

The tool is checking the source code leak on geeksforgeeks.org.

The tool is checking the source code leak on facebook.com.
