About Company:

Snapdeal is an Indian e-commerce company based in New Delhi, India. Investors in the company include SoftBank Corp, Ru-Net Holdings, Tybourne Capital, PremjiInvest, Alibaba Group, Temasek Holdings, Bessemer Venture Partners, IndoUS Ventures, Kalaari Capital, Saama Capital, Foxconn Technology Group, Blackrock, eBay, Nexus Ventures, Intel Capital, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Singapore-based investment entity Brother Fortune Apparel and Ratan Tata. Snapdeal acquired FreeCharge for $400 million.

In 2015, Snapdeal acquired Freecharge, India’s leading website for online recharges. Snapdeal Won the Red Herring Asia Awards in 2011.

Recruitment Process:

Snapdeal conducts 4-5 rounds to select freshers as Software Developer.

  • Online Aptitude + Coding Round
  • Technical Interview Round 1
  • Technical Interview Round 2
  • Technical Interview Round 3
  • HR Round

Academic Criteria:

  • 60 percent or above in B.Tech, Class X and XII.
  • No backlogs at the time of the interview

Written Round:

The Written round consists of two major sections namely General Aptitude Test and Coding Test. The General Aptitude Test has a mathematical reasoning part, and logical reasoning part, and a verbal ability Test. To be prepared for coding problems you can practice from our Snapdeal Practice. Technical Rounds:

The students who clear the written round are called for a Technical Interview. You should be prepared with Data structures and Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Networking, OOP concepts, and a programming language of your choice. If you are experienced, you should expect questions related to your previous work. To clear this round you should be clear with your basics. Students from branches other than CS should prepare for the other two subjects related to their branch. CS students will be expected to write codes in the interview. They also ask questions about resumes. So, don’t mention such stuff that you don’t know. You may be asked puzzles in this round.

HR Round:

They ask general HR questions like :

  1. Tell me about Yourself
  2. Why Snapdeal?
  3. How do you see yourself after five years from now?
  4. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
