It is standing for Signal Connection Control Part which is a protocol of the Network layer in the OSI model. As we know that Wireshark is the world’s foremost and most widely -used Network analyzer, which is used to capture the network traffic like how many types of protocols are run in your network system. SCCP user table in terms of Wireshark, it is used for mapping the specific kind of protocol for a certain type protocol like DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) and SSN (Social Security Number) or we can say when we map this kind of protocols that is intimate to combination for SCCP.

The SCCP user table mainly describes some fields. 

  • Network Indicator: An Integer represents the network indicator for a valid associate.
  • Called (DPS)s An integers range that represents the docs user table for the valid association.
  • Called (SSN)s A range of integers representing the SSN user table for the valid association.
  • User Protocol: The protocol that is carried over the association.

SCCP basically provides 4 types of classes of protocol applications:

  • Class 0: Basic connectionless.
  • Class 1: Sequenced connectionless.
  • Class 2: Basic Connection-Oriented.
  • Class 3: Flow control connection-oriented.
