Scaler Academy Interview Experience for SDE Intern (On-Campus) 2023

 Resume Shortlisting: I applied for the internship over the college placement portal and got an Online Assessment link after some time.

Online Assessment: The assessment had two basic DSA questions and MCQs based on frontend and backend.

Development Project and Development Interview: 

• Following the previous stage, all selected applicants were given a full-stack project to complete within two days. 
• After submitting my completed project, I received a Development Interview Link as the next step. I had a one-hour interview for the internship, which primarily focused on my previous given projects. 
• During the interview, I was asked to explain my project code in detail, and then the interviewer asked me to implement a function in the backend code. 
• I provided a satisfactory solution, and a few days later, I received a Technical Interview Link for the next stage of the application process.

Technical Interview: The technical interview focused primarily on questions related to Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and Low-Level Design (LLD). 

• The first question was about identifying the row with the maximum number of 1’s in a given binary matrix. 
• The second question was about finding the minimum element in every sub-array of a given array, where each sub-array has a fixed size k.

Cultural Fitment Round: During the interview, questions were asked related to my previous projects as well as some basic HR questions. The questions aimed to understand my experience and skills gained through my past work, as well as my personality traits and how I could fit into the company culture.
