The denominator() is an inbuilt function in Ruby returns the denominator which is always positive.
Syntax: rat.denominator()
Parameters: The function accepts no parameter
Return Value: It returns the denominator which is always positive.
Example 1:
rat1 = Rational( 7 , - 3 )
puts rat1.denominator()
|
Output:
3
Example 2:
rat1 = Rational( 7 )
puts rat1.denominator()
|
Output:
1
