BlueprintJS is a React-based UI toolkit for the web. This library is very optimized and popular for building interfaces that are complex data-dense for desktop applications. HTMLSelect Component provides a way for users to given them the React alternative to the native HTML select component. It is a styled version of the HTML select component. We can use the following approach in ReactJS to use the ReactJS Blueprint HTMLSelect Component.

HTMLSelect Props:

  • disabled: It is used to indicate whether this element is non-interactive.
  • elementRef: It is used to denote a ref handler or a ref object that receives the native HTML element rendered by this component.
  • fill: It is used to indicate whether this element should fill its container.
  • iconProps: It is used to denote the props to spread to the <Icon> element.
  • large: It is used to indicate whether to use large styles.
  • minimal: It is used to indicate whether to use minimal styles.
  • multiple: It is used to denote the multiple select is not supported.
  • onChange: It is used to denote the change event handler.
  • options: It is used to denote the Shorthand for supplying options.
  • value: It is used to denote the controlled value of this component.

Creating React Application And Installing Module:

  • Step 1: Create a React application using the following command:

    npx create-react-app foldername
  •

  • Step 2: After creating your project folder i.e. foldername, move to it using the following command:

    cd foldername

  • Step 3: After creating the ReactJS application, Install the required module using the following command:

function App() {
    return (
        <div style={{

        }}>
            <h4>ReactJS Blueprint HTMLSelect Component</h4>

                    <option value="Saturday">Saturday</option>
                    <option value="Sunday">Sunday</option>
                </HTMLSelect>
