Rakuten Interview Experience for Associate Software Engineer (Off-Campus)

Rakuten Offcampus Interview consists of 4 Rounds.

Round 1 (Technical Coding Round):- In this, we have 20-30 Technical multiple-choice questions based on Basic coding, Ds and Algo, DBMS, Sorting and Searching & 4 Coding questions in which 1 question is an easy level, 2 questions are of medium level and 1 question is hard.

so questions were like finding the square of a given number, based on array and string mainly.

Round 2 (Face to Face Technical Interview):- This round is for approx (50-60 minutes), and questions were like ~

1. What are oops concepts and explain with examples.
2. what is function overloading and function overriding?
3. what is a linked list and the difference over LinkedList vs array, advantage, and disadvantages of a linked list?
4. what is a hashmap and how it works?
5. stack vs queue?
6. write code by share screen:-  1. Third largest element from an array, 2. Frequency of each character in string
7. DBMS Questions:- 1. Third largest salary from Employee, 2. Joins in SQL, 3. Difference b/w Delete Drop and Truncate.
8. Do you know java? if not then the company is totally working on java how can you do that?

Round 3 (Face to Face Technical Interview):- (This Round is taken by the Senior Manager of the Company)

questions were like~

1. I told Docker in my introduction then he was doing cross-questioning on that how docker works and where you used in your resume. (I Explain Completely very well).
2. write code by share screen:-  Write Code of LinkedList where taking data input from the user at runtime and display all the values at last. then he said here you was adding node at last. now, add node at particular position. (I’m able to solve both the conditions )

after, 3 days I got a call for an HR interview.

Round 3 (Hr Interview):- 

1. Why Rakuten?
2. where do you know about Rakuten?
3. Gave condition like if one of your team member is not working in the project then what shoud you do?
4. Explain your Leadership Qualities?
5. who is your role model in your life?
6. your Weakness?

So After 5 days, I got a call from the HR department and I got selected as an Associate Software Engineer.
