• Last Updated : 06 Feb, 2020

With the help of `stats.halfgennorm.pdf()` method, we can get the value of probability density function by using `stats.halfgennorm.pdf()` method.

The probability density function for halfgennorm is

Syntax : `stats.halfgennorm.pdf(x, beta)`
Return : Return the value of probability density function.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using `stats.halfgennorm.pdf()` method, we are able to get the value of probability density function by using this method.

 `# import halfgennorm``from` `scipy.stats ``import` `halfgennorm``beta ``=` `1`` ` `# Using stats.halfgennorm.pdf() method``gfg ``=` `halfgennorm.pdf(``0.3``, beta)`` ` `print``(gfg)`

Output :

0.7408182206817179

Example #2 :

 `# import halfgennorm``from` `scipy.stats ``import` `halfgennorm``beta ``=` `4`` ` `# Using stats.halfgennorm.pdf() method``gfg ``=` `halfgennorm.pdf(``0.9``, beta)`` ` `print``(gfg)`

Output :

0.5724509846343838
