# Python | Scipy stats.halfgennorm.entropy() method

With the help of `stats.halfgennorm.entropy()` method, we can get the value of entropy of random variate by using `stats.halfgennorm.entropy()` method.

Syntax : `stats.halfgennorm.entropy(beta)`
Return : Return the value of entropy of random variate.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using `stats.halfgennorm.entropy()` method, we are able to get the value of entropy of random variate by using this method.
