Python | Pandas Timestamp.day

Pandas Timestamp.day attribute return the value of the day in the given Timestamp object.

Syntax : Timestamp.day



Parameters : None

Return : day

Example #1: Use Timestamp.day attribute to find the day value in the given Timestamp object.




# importing pandas as pd
import pandas as pd
  
# Create the Timestamp object
ts = pd.Timestamp(2017, 1, 15, 12)
  
# Print the Timestamp object
print(ts)

Output :

Now we will use the Timestamp.day attribute to find out the day value in the given Timestamp object.




# return day value
ts.day

Output :



As we can see in the output, the Timestamp.day attribute has returned 15 indicating that it is the 15th day of the month in the given Timestamp object.
 
Example #2: Use Timestamp.day attribute to find the day value in the given Timestamp object.




# importing pandas as pd
import pandas as pd
  
# Create the Timestamp object
ts = pd.Timestamp(year = 2009, month = 10
        day = 21, tz = 'Europe/Berlin')
  
# Print the Timestamp object
print(ts)

Output :

Now we will use the Timestamp.day attribute to find out the day value in the given Timestamp object.




# return day value
ts.day

Output :

As we can see in the output, the Timestamp.day attribute has returned 21 indicating that it is the 21st day of the month in the given Timestamp object.
