Python is a great language for doing data analysis, primarily because of the fantastic ecosystem of data-centric python packages. Pandas is one of those packages and makes importing and analyzing data much easier.

Pandas PeriodIndex.end_time attribute returns an Index object. The Index contains the end time of the period for each element in the given PeriodIndex object.

Syntax : PeriodIndex.end_time
Parameters : None
Return : Index

Example #1: Use PeriodIndex.end_time attribute to find the end time of period for each element in the given PeriodIndex object.

Python3

# importing pandas as pd
import pandas as pd

# Create the PeriodIndex object
pidx = pd.PeriodIndex(start ='2005-12-21 08:45 ',
              end ='2005-12-21 11:55', freq ='H')

# Print the PeriodIndex object
print(pidx)

Output :

Now we will use the PeriodIndex.end_time attribute to find the end time of period for each element in the given object.

Python3

# return the end time of period
pidx.end_time

Output :

As we can see in the output, the PeriodIndex.end_time attribute has returned an Index object containing the end time of period for each element in the given PeriodIndex object.

Example #2: Use PeriodIndex.end_time attribute to find the end time of period for each element in the given PeriodIndex object.

Python3

# importing pandas as pd
import pandas as pd

# Create the PeriodIndex object
pidx = pd.PeriodIndex(start ='2011-02-14 04:30',
             end ='2011-02-14 11:44', freq ='H')
