With the help of np.hermtrim() method, we can trim the trailing values in a series of hermite coefficients by using np.hermtrim() method.

Syntax : np.hermtrim(series, tol)

Return : Return the coefficients of series after trimming.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using np.hermtrim() method, we are able to get the trimmed hermite series by using this method.

# import numpy and hermtrim
import numpy as np
from numpy.polynomial.hermite import hermtrim

series = np.array([2, 0, 4, 0, 6, 1, 1, 1])

# using np.hermtrim() method
gfg = hermtrim(series, tol = 1)

print(gfg)

Output :

[2. 0. 4. 0. 6.]

Example #2 :

# import numpy and hermtrim
import numpy as np
from numpy.polynomial.hermite import hermtrim

series = np.array([1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0])

# using np.hermtrim() method
gfg = hermtrim(series, tol = 0)

print(gfg)

Output :

[1.]
