cMath module contains a number of functions which is used for mathematical operations for complex numbers. The cmath.inf Constant is used to get the floating-point positive infinity.

Syntax: cmath.inf

Returns: Return the value of positive infinity

Below examples illustrate the use of above function:

Example #1 :

Python3

# Python code to implement
# the cmath.inf constant

# importing "cmath"
# for mathematical operations
import cmath

# Print the positive infinity
val = cmath.inf
print(val)

Output:

inf

Example 2:

Python3

# Python code to implement
# the cmath.inf constant

# importing "cmath"
# for mathematical operations
import cmath

# Print the negative infinity
val = -cmath.inf
print(val)

Output:

-inf
