PyQt5 – Set tool tip duration to Status bar

In this article we will see how to set tool tip duration. We can tool tip using setToolTip method with the status bar object but by default, tool tip will not disappear automatically after some time. We can set this disappearing time by using setToolTipDuration method with status bar object.

Syntax : self.statusBar().setToolTipDuration(ms) Argument : It take integer as argument which represent milliseconds Action performed : It set time duration to tool tip of status bar.

Output : This tool tip will disappear after 500 milliseconds i.e 5 seconds
