PyQt5 QSpinBox – Making text Strike Out

In this article we will see how we can make the text of the spin box strike out. Strike out/through is a typographical presentation of words with a horizontal line through their center, resulting in text like this. Contrary to censored or sanitized texts, the words remain readable. This presentation signifies one of two meanings. Below is how strike out text of spin box looks like.

In order to do this we use setStrikeOut method with the QFont object of the spin box.

Syntax : font.setStrikeOut(True)

Argument : It takes bool as argument

Return : It returns None
