PyQt5 QCommandLinkButton – Setting down property
In this article we will see how we can set down property to the QCommandLinkButton. Down property holds whether the command link button is pressed down. If this property is true, the button is pressed down. The signals pressed
and clicked
are not emitted if we set this property to true. By default this property is false.
In order to do this we use setDown
method with the command link button object
Syntax : button.setDown(True)
Argument : It takes bool as argument
Return : It return None
Below is the implementation
from PyQt5.QtWidgets import *
from PyQt5 import QtCore, QtGui
from PyQt5.QtGui import *
from PyQt5.QtCore import *
import sys
class Window(QMainWindow):
def __init__( self ):
super ().__init__()
self .setWindowTitle( "Python " )
self .setGeometry( 100 , 100 , 500 , 400 )
self .UiComponents()
self .show()
def UiComponents( self ):
cl_button = QCommandLinkButton( "Press" , self )
cl_button.setGeometry( 250 , 100 , 200 , 50 )
cl_button.setDown( True )
App = QApplication(sys.argv)
window = Window()
sys.exit(App. exec ())
