PyQt5 QColorDialog – Testing Color Dialog Options

In this article we will see how we can check the option of the QColorDialog widget. There are basically three dialog options available for the QColorDialog widget, below is the options
1. ShowAlphaChannel : Allow the user to select the alpha component of a color
2. NoButtons : Don’t display OK and Cancel buttons
3. DontUseNativeDialog : Use Qt’s standard color dialog instead of the operating system native color dialog
By default all options are disabled, we can set single option with the help of setOption method, testing option means to check if the given option is enabled or not

In order to do this we use testOptions method with the QColorDialog object

Syntax : dialog.testOptions(QColorDialog.ShowAlphaChannel)

Argument : It takes option object as argument

Return : Returns true if the given option is enabled; otherwise, returns false.
