PyQt5 QCalendarWidget – Getting Meta object of it

In this article we will see how we can get the meta object of QCalendarWidget. A meta-object contains information about a class that inherits QObject, e.g. class name, superclass name, properties, signals and slots. Every QObject subclass that contains the Q_OBJECT macro will have a meta-object.

In order to do this we will use metaObject method with the QCalendarWidget object.

Syntax : calendar.metaObject()

Argument : It takes no argument

Return : It return QMetaObject

        # setting cursor
        # setting geometry to the calendar
        self.calendar.setGeometry(20, 20, 300, 240)
        # creating a label
        label = QLabel(self)
        # setting geometry to the label
        label.setGeometry(100, 280, 300, 60)
        # creating label multi line
        # getting meta object of calendar
        value = self.calendar.metaObject()
        # setting text to the label
