PyQt5 – Making capsule shaped combo box

In this article we will see how we can create capsule-shaped combo box, combo box widget is not like other widgets it consist of many other widget together, for example, text view, push button, line edit etc.

In order to make the combo box circular we have to change the style sheet associated with the combo box, below is the style sheet code

QComboBox
{
border : 1px solid black;
border-radius : 20px;

Notes:

  • Height should be less than the width and border-radius should be half of the height
  • It only make combo box main widget i.e text view part circular it has no effect on the push button.

        # adding list of items to combo box
