Poshmark Interview Experience

I applied to POSHMARK, Chennai via LinkedIn for SDET I. I got a response from the HR Team after 2 months. The process took about 3 days. There are a total of 5 rounds and it may vary according to the working title. I was interviewed by senior people from testing backgrounds [Both India and USA]

First Round: Technical Round I

• Tell me about yourself and a few questions regarding your projects currently working.
• 2 coding questions – Find the number of occurrences present in a list (without any built-in function) and diagonal matrix having the same characters or not [Expecting optimal solution].
• Difference between Binary Tree and Binary Search Tree.
• Asked for some Test cases based on coding or some application related.
• Few DSA and SQL-related questions.

Second Round: Technical Round II [with USA CLIENT]

• Tell me about yourself. 
• 15 mins of discussion regarding my current projects – techniques, extraction, tools, etc.
• Difference between POST and GET.
• Asked questions related to API testing.
• coding question – Find the index of the number of pairs whose sum is equal to its target [optimal solution]

Third Round: Technical Round III 

• Tell me about yourself and a few questions related to projects and resumes.
• questing related to web testing – based on the improvisation of a search module.
• 3 coding questions – Find the number of pairs whose sum is equal to its target, Anagram, Add two lists based on different lengths [optimal solution]

Fourth Round: Culture Fit and Fifth Round: Managerial Round

PROS :

• Easy coding questions 
• Good and smooth interaction 
• Interesting and thoughtful questions based on projects, testing, development, and others.
• A good company to give a try and experience

CONS:

• Conducts two to three technical rounds in a single day.
• Gives collective feedback of all 5 rounds for the job offer but doesn’t follow it.

” Tip: It is good if you know selenium, Appium, web-based APIs, and REST APIs ” If you managed to complete all 5 rounds with a good review, then probably selected 🙂
