Pickrr Interview Experience for SDE-I

I was Interviewed by Pickrr for the position of software developer. There were a total of 3 rounds.

My first round was a Hackerrank test, followed by another technical round, and a final round with CTO.

Round 1:

1. This was a variation of https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/count-minimum-number-of-fountains-to-be-activated-to-cover-the-entire-garden/.
2. A string consisting of characters ‘a’ and ‘b’ can be broken down into blocks of similar consecutive letters. Determine the minimum number of characters to be added to make all blocks of equal length.

Round 2: This was round with senior developer

• I was asked to give a brief introduction at first, followed by extensive discussion on the projects that I had done.
• He then gave me a question of string manipulations, I was able to solve it partially and then I was stuck for some corner cases, he gave me hint and I was able to cover up all the corner cases.

Round 3: This was a discussion round with CTO, he asked me about my interests and then we had a conversation about the vision and mission of the company.
